Matching Finestra Embellishments and Hardware

Isabella Finials with Flower Medallion Buttons
Betty Martinez
Elegant Interiors
Chesapeake, VA

Coordinate your embellishments and drapery hardware with custom hand finishes and unique designs!

This beautiful treatment by Betty Martinez with Elegant Interiors uses a custom twist on our Walnut Burl finish. Betty requested the finish without the swirled or burled pattern on it. The result was spectacular! Both the finish and designs anchor this treatment with heavy fringe in a tonal, light and airy room.

Architetural Design Details

Photos courtesy of Beaux-Artes
The architecture of a room plays a key role in the decor we choose, the color palette, and even the way we install our draperies. A cohesive design incorporates all of a room's grandeur and detail. Adding decoratively carved air return registers, light rings, and wall panels separate ordinary design from the extraordinary.
Finestra casts many of these architectural pieces for Beaux-Artes. The pieces include speaker grilles covers, fire alarm medallions, light rings, and grilles and air return registers.

Decorate with Finials in Unusual Ways

Barry Dixon Interiors Photographs Copyright Brian D Coleman

Use finials to top cornices as shown above to enhance and bring dimension to your design like our #14 Ragsdale Finial.

For an upscale look in a Great Room, try adding finials to your love seat or sofa. Decorative tassels add a finishing touch to this design.

Finials make fabulous bathroom and kitchen accents. Use them as towel bars, or hooks for robes and towels.

Finials on bookcases or furniture accents complete mill work or fine furniture details. Bed top finial accents can give a royal or whimsical feel like these hand painted dragonfly finials.
Use finials as toppers for your pelmets and a swag designs.

Newel Post accents or fence post accents are a wonderful way to tie in trim finishes and finish off plain caps. How about an elegant entry to your garden?!

These animal finials are a fun way to add to your design! Use them as coat racks, door pulls, towel bars or even bookends.

The possibilities are endless!

Decorative Traverse Rods

Treatment by Karen Downey with Custom Interiors.
Finestra Designer Finish: Dark Bamboo with brown tracking system.

Traverse rods can add functionality and decorative aesthetics to your window treatments. If the window treatment is going to be opened several times a day or in high traffic areas of the home, traverse rods are the solution for ease of movement.

Decorative wood fascias offer an aesthetically pleasing design option with over 36 hand rubbed finishes. Custom finishes are also an option like the treatment shown above, created by Karen Downey with Custom Interiors. She has chosen a hand rubbed and antiqued red finish to compliment her drapery fabric. Simply beautiful!

Options for traverse rods include 2" or 3"D wood fascias with or without C rings. You may also choose between ball bearing hand drawn tracks or cord drawn systems. The ball bearing track is optimal for ease of use. Either system may also be used as a double track system in order to layer your treatments or place sheers behind the draperies. Brown or white track colors are offered to blend in with any custom hand rubbed finish.
Please contact Finestra Decorative Hardware for help on any traverse solutions 1-888-443-8182. Or, visit us online http://www.finestradecorativehardware.com/03_rods.asp.
